NEMISA’s vision is for South Africa to be an e-skilled society by 2030. Its mission is to provide a national integrated e-skills development framework for sustainable socio-economic development in South Africa.
NEMISA Works with international, national, provincial and local partners on collaborative e-skills interventions. It is a globally a recognised collaborative model.

Addresses e-skills interventions through teaching and learning, research, innovation, monitoring and evaluation and aggregation.
Acts as a leader and anatine catalyst for developing e-skills in South Africa
Plays an advocacy role in developing users, consumers and citizens within the information and knowledge based environment
It Provides an enabling framework that operates nationally, provincially and logically.
To coordinate, integrate and aggregate (combine) the Manu e-skills and e-readiness interventions that exist – allowing for e-skills massification, greater impact and reduced duplication
To identify gaps and overlaps and recommend collaborative solutions – responding to industry demands and aligning to national goals and industry needs.
