NEMISA’s e-skills thematic areas – aligning with national priorities
NEMISA operates at a national, provincial and local level: The NEMISA distributive model (ie physical presence in each of the nine provinces) allows for government, business, education, organised labour and civil society to engage in e-skills interventions on a national, provincial and local level . The provincial e-skills CoLabs are based at universities across the country.
Each e-skills CoLab leads in a thematic area: To align e-skills interventions with national and developmental priorities, NEMISA has defined specific e-skills thematic areas. Each provincial e-Skills CoLab leads in one of these areas.
Thematic areas are national: While an e-Skill CoLab is mandated to focus on a specific thematic area, this area is not exclusive to the province or CoLab. These thematic areas are of national importance and aligned e-skills interventions are carried out nationally.
